Oh my goodness, I do love this show a lot. If you’ve gotten into Project Runway over the last many years, and Under The Gunn more recently, you might just like this too. Well, I would say that if you like those shows but tend to cringe at some of the editing and the drama, then you might really like this. The Great British Sewing Bee is the anti-drama. What I like about it, besides that everyone is so humble and nice (and that Patrick Grant is handsome), is that the sewers actually need to know construction skills, since the garments are looked at very closely when they are finished. It is about design and fabric and timing and careful work, plus they show you the steps that go into what they are making. Make happy the home sewer in you and go check it out!
