Happy October to you, the best month of the loveliest season. These photos here feel like a very true version of my life right now – half dolls, half family, and everything else squeezed in the edges. We had an amazing summer of sleep-in mornings, friends, beach days, and a wonderful camping trip. We celebrated our tenth wedding anniversary, and on that very same day got the keys to our new house. We moved neighborhoods, schools, and my sewing room. And to be honest I wondered if the dolls would lose a bit of their magic in the move – but the work I’ve done in September seems to have proved that wrong, at least for me. I have yet to feel settled here – the newness is exciting and exhausting, and I know that eventually it will all come together.
There have been a few changes to Boolah Baguette this fall. The first is that from September to December I will be having regular shop updates (except for the week of October 7, canadian thanksgiving) every Friday at noon from Saskatoon, Canada. This is where you will find my new dolls, but so far they have been selling out quite quickly, so be ready! I usually post sneak peeks for the upcoming updates on my Instagram account. The other change is regarding custom orders – in order to keep them as a sustainable part of my business (custom dolls take significantly more time in communication, sourcing of materials, and the actual making), I needed to increase the price. Please see my FAQ section just up top or email me with any questions.
Enjoy this wonderful season, I certainly will.
